What's included

Canberra Commercial Concrete Flooring Services

Floors for shops, offices and cafés, scheduled around your fitout and your trading hours.

01

Shopfit-ready floors

Your shopfitter needs a flat floor to work from. We pour or correct the slab to that tolerance and stage it to suit the fitout program.

02

Office floors

Slabs and screeds finished flat and clean, so your carpet tiles, vinyl or polished finish goes down without fuss or extra prep.

03

Commercial kitchen floors

Floors that fall to the floor waste, carry slip-rated finishes and include coved edges, so your kitchen is easy to clean and passes inspection.

04

Polished floors for foot traffic

Ground, densified and sealed concrete that shrugs off busy customer traffic and needs only a quick mop to look sharp again.

05

Levelling existing slabs

Moving into a tired tenancy? We grind or screed the existing slab so your new floor covering or fitout sits flat.

06

Repairing worn joints

Chipped saw cuts get cut back, rebuilt and resealed, so trolleys and floor scrubbers stop chewing them up any further.

How the job runs

Canberra Commercial Flooring Process

When your business is still trading, the schedule matters as much as the concrete, so we put the whole plan on paper before we start: the staging, the hours we're allowed on site, a spot for the truck and pump, how we'll keep dust and noise down, and which parts of the site stay open while we're working in another. With that locked in, we prepare and set out each area around the planned joints and the traffic it'll carry. We pour or overlay one agreed section at a time, finish it within the specified tolerance, then cure and seal it before you get that area back.

1

Scope, Access & Staging Plan

We walk the site with you, agree when each area closes, and put that staging into the quote.

2

Preparation & Set-out

Old surfaces are removed or ground back, levels set to suit the fitout, and dust and noise controls set up.

3

Pour or Overlay & Finish

We pour, screed or overlay to the agreed tolerance and finish it to the slip rating in the spec.

4

Cure, Seal & Hand Back

It cures for as long as the product needs, gets sealed, and goes back to you one area at a time as each is ready.

Commercial Flooring Experts in Canberra: What We Work On

A commercial floor has to look good, take a beating and keep performing, all at once. We've worked across many types of commercial concrete flooring and match each one to your business, the foot traffic you get and Canberra's conditions. Whether it's a new tenancy or a refresh of an existing one, your floor needs to cope with daily wear and still make a sharp impression on clients and customers. These are the main floor types we install.

  • Polished Concrete for Commercial Spaces — A glossy, light-bouncing finish for offices and shops that's tough, easy to keep clean and brightens the space without extra lighting.
  • Retail & Showroom Flooring — Your floor is part of the first impression. We deliver a smooth, good-looking surface that copes with steady customer traffic and keeps its finish.
  • Office & Hospitality Concrete Floors — Comfortable to stand on and built to resist daily wear, with a tidy, professional look that suits spaces where clients and guests spend time.
  • High-Traffic Concrete Flooring — Extra reinforcement and a hard-wearing finish for floors that see heavy use every day, so they resist cracking, scuffing and surface damage.
  • Commercial Floor Resurfacing — Brings a worn or damaged floor back without tearing it out, improving looks and performance with less disruption to trade and a smaller bill.
  • Concrete Sealing & Protective Finishes — A protective coat that guards against stains, spills, moisture and chemicals, helping your floor last longer in a busy commercial setting.

We'll work through the options with you and choose the floor that fits your premises, your line of business and your budget, so it keeps performing well for many years.

Why locals choose us

Why Choose Our Commercial Flooring Experts in Canberra

Commercial floors fail on the schedule, not the concrete. Cure time can't be squeezed to hit a deadline.

Staging agreed upfront

Which section, which day and when it reopens, all set out in the quote instead of sorted on the fly.

Honest curing timelines

We won't hand a floor back before it can take the weight. Rushing that is how good floors get wrecked.

Slip ratings specified

We match the finish to the slip rating your public areas require, and list it in the quote.

Dust and noise managed

Dust extraction and screening on all grinding, which counts when the shop next door is open.

Clear about our scale

Fitouts and small-to-mid commercial jobs are our sweet spot. If yours is a large-format floor, we'll point you to a bigger firm.

Licensed & insured

Registered builder carrying full public liability, with certificates sent to you before we set foot on site.

Before you call

Commercial Flooring questions we get asked in Canberra

Quick answers to what Canberra homeowners usually ask us before getting a price.

Can you work around a trading business?

Yes. We agree the program in writing before we start, covering staging, permitted work hours, where the concrete truck and pump will sit, dust and noise control, and which parts of the premises stay open.

How is the floor handed back?

One section at a time, following the staging we agreed, and only once each area is cured and sealed. Opening a floor to traffic too early is how a commercial pour ends up as a repair job.

What tolerance can you pour to?

Whatever your spec calls for, as long as we know it up front. The flatness tolerance changes our method and how many people we need, so it should be written into the scope, not guessed.

Can you overlay a floor, or only pour new?

We do both. Where the old slab is still sound, overlaying is usually quicker and less disruptive. Where it isn't, we'll tell you, rather than bonding a fresh surface onto one that's already failing.

What drives the price of a commercial floor?

Mostly access, staging and the hours we're allowed on site, often more than the floor area. Pouring in sections after hours costs more than doing the same floor in one go.
